TNR
TNR stands for Trap/Neuter/Return. This is a process where the cat is trapped, spayed/neutered, the ear is tipped so they can easily be identified as having been already spayed/neutered, given a rabies shot, and then returned to their location. In 2025, we have started helping reduce the overpopulation of feral colonies through a TNR program. If a feral colony is okay where it is at, the cats can be TNR'd and then returned to continue helping reduce rodent and snake populations.
If they need to be relocated, we are starting a Barn Buddy Program.
What is a Barn Buddy?
A Barn Buddy is a cat that has previously lived outdoors and is not accustomed to being handled by humans. These cats are often unsocialized, meaning that they are essentially wild animals who typically do not depend on humans for survival and who are able to live outdoors with minimal assistance. These animals are helpful to have on residential and commercial properties because they’re excellent at hunting, which helps protect your business or property from rodents and pests.
