Kaylee’s story started on a golf course, where she was found looking like she’d taken a tumble from a car’s engine bay. She had a bit of road rash and a swollen leg, but this tough little girl is recovering beautifully and showing just how resilient she is.
Now healed up and feeling much better, Kaylee is ready to explore the world — this time in a much safer way. She’s spayed and has her rabies vaccine and first FVRCP shot, so she’s all set for her next chapter.

Mystique is a beautiful black‑and‑white kitten with a tender heart and a very timid spirit. She was caught in the wild, so she’s still learning that humans can be safe — but she’s already showing her soft side. Once she feels comfortable, Mystique loves gentle pets and even drools to show how happy she is. She just prefers you come to her cozy spot first.

Piggy
Our Sweet “Grandma” With a Heart of Gold
Piggy is a gentle, loving 8–9‑year‑old girl with a story that will melt your heart. She was rescued from a hoarding situation with more than 50 cats, and despite everything she’s been through, she remains one of the sweetest souls in our rescue.
When she arrived, Piggy was already spayed, but she needed hernia surgery and later had to have all of her teeth removed. Even so, she’s still as spunky as a 2‑year‑old when the mood strikes — and she lights up every room she enters.
We lovingly call her “Grandma” because she’s so gentle with the younger cats, always offering calm companionship and quiet affection. But Piggy truly deserves a home where she can be the Queen. She’ll need to stay on soft/wet food for life, but it doesn’t slow her down one bit.
Piggy is a lap‑lover through and through — she adores curling up with her person and soaking in all the attention she can get.
Felix
Meet Felix — Blaze’s lucky brother and a little miracle in his own right. We were able to save his eye and nurse him back to full health, and now he’s ready to take on the world. Felix hasn’t lost a step — he’s energetic, playful, and full of that irresistible kitten charm.
He and Blaze make an incredible pair. Give Felix a chance… or better yet, take both brothers home and let them grow up together. Neutered, Rabies and FVRCP shots.
Jett
🐾 Jett — A High‑Energy Little Rocket Ready for Takeoff

Hi, I’m Stache
As a former full‑time feline resident, I can tell you firsthand: Angel’s Cabin of Cats is the real deal. This sanctuary in Roanoke, AL is dedicated to giving cats like me a safe, loving place to land when life hasn’t been so kind.
At Angel’s Cabin, every cat receives the essentials — shelter, food, clean water, veterinary care, and rehabilitation — but it’s the compassion that truly sets this place apart. Their mission goes beyond rescue. They work hard to educate the community about responsible pet ownership and the importance of spaying and neutering, helping reduce the cycle of unwanted litters.
They’ve also launched a TNR (Trap‑Neuter‑Return or Rehome) program to help manage and protect feral colonies, giving outdoor cats a chance at healthier, safer lives.
Through adoption events and fundraising efforts, Angel’s Cabin continues to grow its outreach and create brighter futures for cats in need.

We have adopted 6 of our beautiful babies from Tammy at the Angels Cabin of Cats Rescue. They have fit into our home perfectly, and have been family since the day we picked them up. We are beyond grateful that our babies were able to get fixed, their first round of shots, and first round of de-wormer all through the rescue. Hello there... I am Thor the red god of the Scholl home. My foster Mommy called me Rusty and I liked that name too.
When I came here, my sister Loki and my big brother Zeus thought I needed to be called Thor.
This is me now. I had my surgery last week and that has not stopped my high energy command of the house. Zeus chases me and I chase Loki. We drive Mom and Dad nuts!
I'm always chatty and run to them whenever they call my name.
I know that I am so lucky that the Angels took me in. I have a wonderful life thanks to Tammy.

This is my kitty Smokey (Stripes). We adopted him in October. He adapted to our home very quickly, and I must say his personality fits in with our family and other pets to a "T". He's so loving and when he's not giving hugs, he's playing with his little styrofoam ball, or one of our other kitties. Tammy truly is an angel! I called her with 4 (day old) kittens and a mama cat. She dropped everything, met me in the pouring rain and took them all in. She cared for them and sent me updates on until they were all adopted. I’m so thankful to have found Angels Cabin of Cats and appreciate all they do!
We hesitated to get another cat after our beloved male cat passed away but ultimately wanted a friend for our grieving female. We visited Angel's Cabin of Cats and found Willie who was very friendly and loving. He has been the best addition and healed us all in more ways than I can explain. He loves my children.
